How can femininity help women in leadership?

Feminine 1st Women in leadershipWomen in leadership and females in business have become ‘hot topics’ over the last few years.

Between Sheryl Sandberg comment sharing how we have too few women in leadership on the TED stage and various news reports from all over the world about how women are underrepresented in business….it’s clear that this is a conversation that is sparking a lot of interest.

Women in leadership = feminine leaders?

The thing is, as we’re all acutely aware, women in leadership does not necessarily equate to feminine leadership.

We’ve all seen women in business who are doing a better job at being men than their male counterparts.  They’ve taken on the reins, slapped on their masculine masks and are leading the charge by showing very clearly who is wearing the trousers (or pants, depending where you’re based!)

I can’t blame women for taking this approach, I did it myself for a large number of years, and it’s often done because women in leadership think that’s what it takes to be successful – they’re just modeling the men who have been successful before them. It can also simply happen because the women in question have never seen or been shown another way of doing it.

But in taking this approach we end up missing out on tapping into our innate strengths.  The natural abilities we have as feminine women that can lead to successes in business that we never realised possible.

Women in leadership who tap into their feminine unleash a powerful force.

Having dealt with leadership the masculine way for many years, I know how it works.  I know that in certain circumstances it’s beneficial and in others it really doesn’t hit the mark.

But feminine leadership is a concept that I’ve only become familiar with in the last few years…and I know personally the difference that it can make.

I’m the leader of a women’s community here in London called Tribal Truth, and I’ve had times where I’ve stepped into leading in a masculine way.  I’ve taken everything on myself, I’ve been sure to keep my emotions in check and stay strong and I’ve not let anyone see what’s going on behind the scenes.

Quite frankly, at the times I’ve done this it has been lonely, painfully challenging and has felt like a continuous uphill battle.

For a woman who is feminine at her core, trying to lead in this way is at best ineffective and at worst quite detrimental.
When connecting to my femininity and leading from that place it always inspires a powerful reaction in the group I’m leading.

By connecting to my feminine and leading through emotionally connectedness, through building relationships, through collaboration rather than competition, through being openhearted and vulnerable the results are incredible.  By sharing my truth, and being seen for who I am, rather than a perception I am trying to create I inspire greater connection, respect, loyalty and support.

Even more importantly it gives those I’m leading to be seen for who they are and where they’re at, rather than feeling that they have to pretend to be something or somewhere they’re not.

It means you’re working WITH your team, rather than above them…walking along side them rather than in front of them.

Leading by example rather than by instruction.

By blending the best of our feminine traits with the masculine skills we’re so accustomed to, we find the ‘sweet spot’ that brings out the best in everyone.

Raking a purely masculine approach only gives us half the tools…as does taking a purely feminine approach…it’s when the women in leadership work WITH their male counterparts and each bring their strengths to the table, that’s when the magic happens.

Women in leadership often feel like they’re on their own

I’ve been very lucky.  When taking the tentative steps along the path of discovering what my own personal brand of feminine leadership, I’ve not been alone…I’ve had a tribe of incredible feminine leaders supporting me every step of the way.  Helping, guiding, reflecting back to me, supporting, sharing, acknowledging, celebrating,

…and leading this collection of women is a good friend of mine Tanya Paluso.

Tanya’s heart-centred commitment to ensuring that women step fully into their potential as feminine leaders is parallel to none. She stands for every woman who works with her with compassion, love and a focus on holding space for them to push through their self-imposed limitations and into the power that resides inside them.

Through working with Tanya as the London Tribe leader I have experienced breakthroughs in my feminine leadership that I wasn’t expecting, and have stepped into my power in a way that has transformed myself and the women in my tribe.

Tanya’s consistent ability to put herself out there in a vulnerable and inspiring way has allowed me to see even more clearly the power of feminine leadership and by acting as my mirror she has shown me the path to embodying it in every area of my life.

It’s by seeing how I respond to her open, honest, vulnerable leadership that I see how other people respond to my own.

In the last few weeks I’ve realised how many incredible women I have in my network and how much they have to share with you.   Tanya is one of these women and she has created a complimentary video series called “Leading in Truth” which she has allowed me to share with you.

Through this video series Tanya is sharing:

  • Why leadership is your key to freedom.
  • The Wheel of Co-creative Leadership, a cutting edge style in the new paradigm of business that we’ve been developing at Tribal Truth.
  • The 5 Essential Elements of leadership that will help you overcome the most common obstacles that women face when stepping into their power.
  • The #1 secret to starting an international organization so you can apply this powerful process to create your own movement!  (She will teach you how I took Tribal Truth across the pond to London without knowing anyone)

So if you would like to learn more about how femininity can help women in leadership and how Tanya’s own experiences can help you to step into your own power as a feminine leader then you can find the details here:

In addition, Tanya is doing a free call on Feminine Leadership later today! On this complimentary call, you will learn:

  • The 3 biggest obstacles to building teamwork and partnerships and how to overcome them
  • Why you need to expand your capacity to hold more in order to reach more people
  • How vulnerability will make you a more magnetic, authentic and effective leader
  • The #1 thing you must say to someone when asking them for their partnerships that will result in more YESes and long term growth
  • Her secret formula to building a movement quickly from nothing

I think it is so important for women in leadership to step into their power, and to do it together in collaboration.

What do you want? I mean, what do you REALLY want…?

Claire Brummell, Feminine 1stSo last Sunday we celebrated the first birthday of Feminine 1st…and what a year it has been!

I feel so lucky to have shared the last year with you and to have been able to get to know a lot of the Feminine 1st community quite well.

The highlights of my year though have been the times that I’ve heard responses to blog posts, videos or newsletters that have expressed how much people have wanted or needed to hear the advice and help I’ve shared.

There have been a few times where I’ve questioned whether or not to share on a particular topic or subject…and even where I’ve questioned whether to post a specific article when it’s been written.

I’ve thought maybe it wasn’t my best work, or maybe it wouldn’t be relevant….and its the times when I’ve had those thoughts and then received a message thanking me for sharing something that came at the ‘perfect time’ that have had the biggest impact on me.

I’ve had a lot of emails, messages and even face to face requests over the last year…and every single one of them has either been responded to, or is in my list of ‘to write’ blog posts that are planned for the coming weeks and months.

I love it when someone takes the time to write to me to ask specifically for what they want or need to hear about as it means that I get to answer and respond to your needs, directly.

So this week seemed like the perfect time to ask this question.

Watch the video now to hear all about it:

…you see Feminine 1st really is all about you.

You’re the reason I started Feminine 1st.

You’re the reason I get up in the morning eager and ready to create and share more.

You’re the reason I  write these blogs and post these videos.

So I want to invite you to take this opportunity to ask for what you really make sure that you’re getting what you want and need from the upcoming articles.

There are four ways to get in touch:

  • Comment on this post
  • Contact me via Facebook – Here
  • Tweet me – Here
  • Email me – Here

So take this opportunity to get in touch and ask for what you really want.

Stay Fabulous!

What to do when you’re feeling uninspired…

London Party Bus with GratitudeAs I mentioned in the 8 aspects of the feminine, one of these core traits is inspiration.

Inspiration is a key aspect of femininity…both receiving it and providing it. So what happens if you’re not feeling particularly inspired?

There’s a well known quote about encouragement that comes to mind…Student says “I am very discouraged. What should I do?” Master says, “Encourage others”….and I think it works with inspiration too.

If you’re not feeling very inspired yourself, the quickest route back to feeling it is to inspire someone else.

There are so many ways that you can inspire people…some big, some small…but it doesn’t matter how large your gesture is…only that you light the spark of inspiration in another person.

Last weekend, a group of friends and I took to the streets of London to do just that…to inspire some happiness in the people we met.

The day began on a bus we had hired with a playlist of the most amazing ‘dance-inducing’ songs and a group of people whose enthusiasm for connecting with other people was only outshone by their smiles.

The bus began driving around the streets of London, and as we went we danced, we sang, we high fived total strangers…it was fantastic.

We made a stop at Big Ben just before midday and danced up the embankment, arms linked, singing Auld Lang Syne (or rather singing about the fact that we didn’t know the words) as the clock struck 12.

The faces of the people who saw us were a mixture of bemusement, curiosity and hilarity.

…our attempts to inspire others were working… 🙂

After a brief stop we jumped back on the bus and headed over to Buckingham Palace. When we got off the bus we created an impromptu dance party on Buckingham Palace Road before heading round to the front of one of the most famous buildings in the UK.

Not content with just dancing and singing here, we decided to do an unplanned flashmob. One of our party began by singing the beginning of the White Stripes ‘Seven Nation Army’…quickly joined by the rest of us and the next thing we know we had a huge group of people all jumping, clapping and singing along with us!

Scroll down to the end of this email to see a video of our Buckingham Palace flashmob!

Another quick dance party back on the bus and we were on our way again.

Next stop, Hyde Park for a group salsa lesson….

…an hour later and our whole party (most of whom had never danced a step of salsa in their lives…and some of whom were adamant that they were ‘unteachable’) had got our little routine down….and once again we had drawn a crowd. People wanted to know if we would be there teaching salsa on a regular basis and could they join in – brilliant!

After the delivery of a few hearty ‘free hugs’ and a little more dancing we were back on the bus and off to Leicester Square for another flashmob…the Seven Nation Army was in full force again!

People were dancing and singing…more importantly, they were smiling! As we drove around London, smiling, boogying and waving people couldn’t resist breaking into a smile themselves.

At one point when passing a group of teenagers, one of them stuck their fingers up at me…most likely because it was the ‘cool’ thing to do…but when I blew him a kiss back, he didn’t quite know what to make of it and before he knew it a smile had crept across his face too!

Our day ended with putting together a collection of bags each containing 2 pairs of socks, a blanket, a toothbrush, toothpaste, a sandwich, water, baby wipes, some fruit and a little sweet treat. We then went out in small groups on a very dark and rainy night and gave these bags to the homeless on the streets of London.

The response was truly heartwarming, such genuine and heartfelt gratitude that strangers would take time out of their evening to give a few small gifts to people who need them.

Seeing how the experience touched the members of our group, adults and children alike, and inspired them to do even more in the future was beautiful.

The great news is that you don’t need a large collection of people or to do anything big to inspire others…there are thousands of different ways to do it. You are only limited by the extent of your imagination!

The simplest, and easiest way?

Simply smile at someone and inspire them to smile too.

When you become the inspiration for someone else…no matter how big or small the gesture…it’s amazing how inspired you end up feeling.

So if you’re feeling uninspired…be the inspiration for others…and see how inspired you end up feeling.

Stay Fabulous!

Would you like to know how to just let it all out?

Let it outWe all know that life has its ups and downs, it’s stresses and strains at times, it’s highs and lows….that’s what makes it interesting!

Sometimes though, us ladies can get caught up with this idea that we need to be perfect, and that no matter what happens that we need to stay in control.

Especially at times like these,  its important to remember that perfection is an illusion…as is control.

We see in magazines and on television all about how to have the perfect body, the perfect relationship, the perfect home, the perfect career, the perfect life!

But what is perfection?!  It’s all subjective.  …and if you’re anything like me you appreciate something that is perfectly imperfect.

Life needs to have its downs otherwise you wouldn’t appreciate the ups as much!

As for control, well control is also an illusion.  The only thing that we can control in life is what we say and do and how we react to situations.

…and herein lies the problem.

Sometimes, in order to try and keep ‘control’, we ladies insist on controlling our emotions.   A situation comes up which upsets us, disappoints us, or makes us angry, and in order to feel like we’re ‘in control’ we hang on tight to our feelings and either bury them, distract ourselves from them or cover them up.

The downside of this is that these feelings don’t go away, they just end up staying there, inside us, eating us up and sometimes causing us other problems (like affecting our health) until such time as our guard is down, when they have a bad habit of bubbling back up to the surface and catching us unawares.

So I hear you asking, “How else do I deal with it?”

Great question.

Well, as we’ve discussed previously the best way to deal with negative emotions is to allow yourself to feel them…because it’s only when you’ve felt them completely and totally that you are able to release them and let them go.

But we’re feminine women!  We’re not supposed to shout or scream or get upset are we?

I say, “Why not?!”

Passion and emotional connectedness are fundamental parts of femininity…if we don’t allow ourselves to embrace these aspects fully, then we don’t allow ourselves to embrace our femininity fully either.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting for a second that you start shouting and screaming the moment that something irks you slightly…but I am suggesting that you allow yourself to “Let it out” when something is bubbling under the surface.

…and letting it out doesn’t have to be a bad thing.

There are so many ways that you can release those emotions in a way that will help you to feel better, and not scare the living daylights out of anyone nearby!

A couple of weeks ago, a large group of friends all got together for a friend’s 35th birthday in London, where we went for dinner and dancing at a Greek restaurant.

Plate Smashing

Plate Smashing!

Now, if you’re not aware already…the Greeks have a tradition which is a fantastic way to ‘let out’ any stress you might be experiencing in a fun way – plate smashing!

At the end of the meal they play some traditional Greek music and everyone is invited to take some plates and smash them on the floor.  It’s great fun, doesn’t cost very much money and is a fantastic way of ‘letting out’ any emotion you might be hanging on to.

…and plate smashing isn’t your only option…Smashed Plates

Here’s a list of 10 ways to ‘let it out’ which will make you feel better…and some which might even make you smile too:

  1. Sing along to a fitting song at the top of your voice (being in-tune is optional) – some song suggestions are: “Stronger” by Kelly Clarkson, “So What” by Pink and “Ready to Go” by Republica.
  2. Have a good cry.
  3. Go running…run as far as you can as fast as you can.
  4. Take it out on a pillow.
  5. Pull faces at yourself in the mirror.
  6. Find somewhere remote and shout it out at the top of your lungs.
  7. Take up kickboxing.
  8. Dance around like a 4 year old.
  9. Write down everything you’re feeling and then tear the paper up into tiny pieces.
  10. Take up Krumping (a dance style created in LA to give kids an alternative to gang-life and to help them to release their anger in a positive and non-violent way)

…or come up with your own – this is a great opportunity to get creative and think of some ways to ‘let it out’ which will work well for you.

…when you let it out, you can let it go…and trust me, you’ll end up feeling a whole lot better.

Stay Fabulous!

What is a tribe? Why is it important? ….and who’s in YOUR tribe?

As women, we all know about the power of community…we know how it feels to connect with other like-minded people, all supporting us and rallying behind us.

We know how it feels when you meet someone who you feel an instant connection to them and you know that they are someone who you want to spend more time around.

We understand how it feels when a collection of like-minded women get together…the energy it creates is electric.

So what is a tribe?

A tribe is a community.

It is a collection of like-minded people.

A tribe is powerful.

Your tribe is YOUR community.

The thing with tribes is that normally people end up in a tribe by default.

Maybe it’s because of the area they live in, the job they have or the hobbies that they do.

Often people don’t even notice that they’re in them.

So what if, rather than being in your tribe by default, you could choose your tribe?

What if, you could not only choose your tribe, but you could help to create it?

Well the great news is that you can.

For example, I am very lucky to have an amazing tribe of women around the world who I speak to and connect with regularly who are like-minded, supportive women who are always 100% behind me and my dreams. The only downside is the geographical locations! I have regular catch-ups (often via Skype) with incredible women in San Francisco, Buenos Aires, Beijing, Australia, Spain…and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

These are great…and I am so grateful for each and every one of these women…but I also know how powerful it would be if I had a local community of like-minded women who I could meet with in person, on a regular basis, who would also bring that same level of trust, honesty and support.

Tribal TruthWell I recently was introduced to an amazing organisation called “Tribal Truth” which has created communities in numerous different locations around the world with the sole (or soul!) purpose of “Putting a tribe behind women’s dreams”.

The focus is purely on collaboration, support and creating an amazing network of women all pulling together from a completely open and honest place, to help each other on their journey.

What I love about the Tribal Truth community is that it is all about doing this by being completely open, completely authentic and completely truthful, both with yourself and with the people around you.

For me, Tribal Truth brings together some of the best aspects of being a feminine woman…collaboration and support, nurturing each other and our dreams, learning how to receive from others around us, and doing all of this from a really open and authentic place.

What is even more exciting is that Tribal Truth is launching a community of these incredible women right here in London, and I have been asked to serve as a leader for this group! ☺

Here is a video that tells you a little bit more about Tribal Truth and why I was drawn to get involved:

I am SO excited about the launch of Tribal Truth London and connecting with even more of the incredible women we have locally here…and I would love to see you there.

If you would like to join us you can find all about the launch party here:

…and for those of you who are international, there’s more good news. Tribal Truth is going to be launching in even more cities around the world in the coming months, so watch this space!

I’m so excited…I can’t wait to see you there…

My Second Pay It Forward Experiment – Pay Forward a Pound to Save Lynne’s Life

So yesterday I shared my first Pay It Forward Experiment….today I’m sharing the second.  This is not any old experiment.  This has the potential to save a human life.

I have a question for you.

If you could save a human life right now with just £1…would you do it?

£1 is less than the price of a loaf of bread.

But £1 from you, plus three simple posts on either Facebook or Twitter is all it will take to save a life.

Lynne HazeldenA friend of mine, Lynne Hazelden, is battling breast cancer….having already lost her mother to cancer at just 12 years old.

She has already had a mastectomy, but has discovered a lump in her reconstructed breast…something that is quite rare.

Unfortunately, due to chemical sensitivities she is unable to undergo the usual treatment, available here in the UK, to tackle this disease.

In spite of her own ill health, Lynne is using her rare situation to help raise awareness and support for others who urgently need to find alternative cancer therapies which are not widely available.

There is hope for Lynne.

There is a treatment available in Israel that could save her life.

But in order to begin her treatment, Lynne needs to raise £30,000 in the next three weeks ….she then has to raise the funds to complete the therapy which could save her life.

The total amount to raise is £100,000.

With your help, she can get it.

(Click here to read more about Lynne’s story:

Pay It ForwardThrough some inspiration from a few amazing friends (thank you to each and every one of you, you know who you are)…I realised that this target is not only possible, but through pay it forward it could be done in just 12 days!

As you probably know by now, Pay It Forward is about the exponential growth of kindness.

You do one kind thing for 3 people…asking them to each do something kind for 3 other people…and on it spreads.

So my new experiment is about “Paying Forward a Pound”.

The idea is very simple.

  • You donate £1 to Lynne’s treatment fund.
  • You pass on the message to 3 friends, asking them to each “Pay Forward a Pound” for Lynne
  • Each of them pass on the message to 3 friends….who pass on the message to 3 friends…and the ripple spreads…
  • In 12 days Lynne will reach her target and will be able to begin her lifesaving treatment.

So how do you “Pay Forward a Pound” for Lynne?

It’s easy.

There are just 2 simple steps.

1. Donate £1 now via the Just Giving website or Text donations:

2. Send the message about Pay Forward a Pound to 3 friends now, by just copying and pasting the text below:

  • Facebook / Google +  / Email  – Would you like to save a life today?  Pay forward just £1 now and in 3 weeks we will have saved the life of an incredible lady who is battling breast cancer – Visit here to learn about Paying Forward a Pound for Lynne: #PayItForward
  • Twitter / Text Message – Please pay forward a Pound now to save @LynneHazelden ‘s life #PayItForward

As you know, feminine women are all about collaborating, working together, supporting each other, and emotionally connecting with others.  I say let’s tap into these natural gifts and use them to help save an amazing lady’s life.

By acting now, we will give Lynne the gift of her future.

Please, do your part to make this experiment a success.

Remember to Pay it Forward…

My First Pay It Forward Experiment…

If you saw the previous post about “Can YOU make a difference” you’ll know that last Wednesday was the global Pay It Forward Flashmob…and what an experience it was!

There were over 70 locations around the world involved, including London, Koh Samui, Sao Paulo, Cape Town, Chicago, LA, Belfast, Copenhagen, Brisbane and Auckland.

The idea was that you take a book that had inspired or moved you in some way, and “Pay it Forward” to a total stranger, giving with it a leaflet explaining about how Pay it Forward works and asking them to continue the ripple.

It was a fantastic day. The sun was shining we had around 150-200 people taking part and we were passing on random acts of kindness…what more could a girl want on a Wednesday afternoon?

Well…I decided as part of the day that I would do a little experiment.

Claire Brummell Paying Forward The Feminine EvolutionYou see, as well as Paying Forward a book that had inspired me, I also paid forward one of my “The Feminine Evolution” CD Audio programs.

But this wasn’t just any ordinary Pay it Forward…oh no.

I wanted to see if I could encourage the recipient to pay the CD forward…and also to get the next recipient to let me know who they are and more importantly where they are in the world, so that I can track the journey my little CD takes as it bounces around the world inspiring women as it goes.

So I’ve written a message in the CD case that reads something like this:

Dear Friend,

You have received this CD from someone who wishes to share a little inspiration with you.

This is part of an experiment to see how far and wide this little CD can travel!

So when you receive it, I ask you kindly to please do 3 things:

  1. Listen to the CD and Enjoy it! 🙂
  2. Take a picture of yourself with the CD and send it with an email telling me who you are, where in the world you are, when you received it and when you passed it on:
  3. Pass it on to someone else and ask them to follow these three steps too!

Thank you for being a part of this little CD’s journey to inspire people around the world!

…and I’ve set up a page here on the Feminine 1st site to track it’s progress…so watch this space to see where the CD pops up next:

Here is the lovely lady I paid it forward to, hopefully this is the beginning of an interesting journey for the Feminine Evolution…! 🙂

…and if you don’t want to wait for the CD to find it’s way to you on it’s travels then you can pick up your own copy here:

Come back tomorrow to hear about my SECOND pay it forward experiment…which is even MORE exciting! 🙂

Stay Fabulous!

Can YOU Make a difference?

Feminine women are all about nurturing, collaborating and contributing.

It’s in our DNA.

It’s who we are.

So, by doing what comes naturally, what if you could start a ripple which would touch £4.7million people’s lives in just two weeks?

What if this ripple could be started with just 3 simple random acts of kindness?

3 thoughts.

3 simple actions.

That’s it.

I wanted to share this with you today, because as women we tend to feel like we’re constantly doing everything for everyone else…but we don’t necessarily realise the impact that we have on other people’s lives.

We may not always get a thank you.

We may not feel that our efforts are acknowledged.

We may think from time to time ‘why do I bother?’

This is why.

We make a difference to other people’s lives.

…and together we can make an even bigger difference.

You see, I’ve spoken a lot lately about collaboration with regards to how it can help us in business…but collaboration and community is they key to enhancing almost anything we do.

That’s what Pay it Forward is about.

It is about people all over the world coming together to spread the exponential growth of kindness.

If one person does a random act of kindness for 3 people and each of those commit to pay it forward to 3 more people and each of those pay it forward to 3 more people, after 2 weeks, over 4.7 million people will have been impacted by those initial acts of kindness.

In 2006, Charley Johnson created the PIF bracelet as a physical reminder to do good, but also as a baton to pass to others when you do a random act of kindness for them. There are now over a million bracelets in 115 countries. Without it ever having been advertised.

Next week, on  March 28th at 4pm (local time) there is a globally-coordinated flashmob event which I am taking part in.

Currently the flashmob will be taking place in around 70 locations worldwide, including London, Koh Samui, Sao Paulo, Cape Town, Chicago, LA, Belfast, Copenhagen, Brisbane and Auckland)

Check out this video which tells you all about it:

So get involved.

Take Action.

Do something today.

Find your local flashmob to join.

Or just make the decision to start paying it forward.

This is a ripple of kindness that will be felt around the world…do you want to be a part of it?

Stay Fabulous!

Inspiring, being inspired and changing lives…

As you know, on Saturday I was hosting and speaking at the All Woman Workshop here in London.

Although I knew it was going to be a fantastic event, I had no idea how many major life transformations were going to take place there!

It was a phenomenal day.

We had the lovely Alex-Santoro Emmerson who shared her amazing insights into creating more love and passion in your life. Alex’s talk resonated with so many women…in fact one attendee shared that “I’ve been lying to myself for the last two years. It’s not that I don’t want a relationship…it’s that I want a GREAT relationship!”

The fabulous Jennifer Gresham showed the path for taking your passion to a paycheck. Jennifer guided everyone through a brilliant 6-step process for understanding how you can create a career from something you love…and her inspiring story about her own journey touched everyone in the room.

The incredible Lisa Steadman was a firecracker of energy and inspiration, sharing her “Woo hoo within” and helping everyone there understand how important it is to connect with “The Woo hoo that you do”. Her talk helped everyone in the room to understand that branding is not just for business…and being able to understand the unique gift you have to share with the world is where the magic begins…

What was so amazing was that during the day I heard so many people saying “I didn’t expect to get anything out of that talk…so I was really surprised when I did!” or “All of the speakers are amazing…I’ve got value from each and every one of them”.

The energy in the room was electric, we raised money for the fabulous charity “Breakthrough Breast Cancer”…and when some of the ladies shared the stories of their breakthroughs and the incredible transformation they had gone through during the day, there was barely a dry-eye in the house.

I wanted to share one of the inspiring success stories of the day with you today…

When I first started selling tickets to the event, a contact of mine who lives in the US said that because she loved the idea of the event, and wanted to support the charity, she wanted to buy a ticket for me to give to a woman who really needed it.

I put the word out to various contacts asking if they knew someone who was in need of an event like this and a friend of mine connected me with a woman who has had a very challenging personal experience, and was really in need of some inspiration.

Well, to say the stars aligned to bring a particular lady to the event is an understatement. So many co-incidences and chance happenings along the way indicated that she was the person who needed the ticket.

Her story is incredible, but what is even better is the message she shared with the whole group at the end of the All Woman Workshop about the breakthrough she had there.

Not only is it going to transform her life, but ALSO the lives of many other people.

This lady literally has the ability to save lives, and thanks to the generosity of a stranger, a lovely lady who paid it forward, I believe that’s exactly what she’s going to go on to do.

This is just one of many stories which have been shared with me about the amazing transformations that the ladies at the event experienced…and I hope that at the next one we can add your story to the collection!

So if you were at the event on Saturday…a big thank you. Thanks for giving your time, your energy, your support and for helping to make the event an amazing success. …and if you weren’t then maybe I’ll see you at the next one in September! ☺

Stay Fabulous,

Claire x
